Fakher, an honor roll student from Amman is now in her sophomore year at King's Academy. She reflects fondly on the challenges that have surrounded her experience at King's thus far. "Even though there was a lot of pressure on me, I continued to work hard to achieve what I want. The Kluge-Moses scholarship motivated me to continue my work at King's Academy and to show myself that I can achieve great things. I remember working so hard during finals and after I got my report card I was pleased to see that my efforts had paid off." King's Academy is unique to the Middle East, based on a boarding school philosophy which urges students to think with clarity and authority, expand their perspectives and adopt a sense of global citizenship. "The school day at King's Academy is a non-stop journey of learning. I will never forget my experience here."
King's Academy fosters a rich education inside the classroom, during co-curricular activities and in the dorms that challenge its students to become more independent. Majd, a five-day border from close by Madaba, reflects that being a boarder has enhanced her personality, improved her academic and leadership skills and helped her achieve some of the goals she set for herself when she first started at King's as a freshman. "King's Academy is considered one of the top schools in the world and I am honored to be a member of this community. King's Academy gives its students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and it has given me a great education, love and friendship. The support I have received as a recipient of the Kluge-Moses Scholarship has given me the strength to carry on with my hard work."
