 Bridges of Understanding supports the Madrasati Initiative, founded by Her Majesty Queen Rania al-Abdullah in April 2008 to support the poorest schools in Jordan. Madrasati brings together public, private, and non-profit partners in an exciting, new grassroots initiative to renovate public schools in urgent need of repair. The program is part of the Jordan River Foundation/USA, a 501/c3 registered in the US. Bridges will be providing funding to support the infrastructure of an elementary school in Husban as well as the creation of libraries in 50 of Amman's schools.
