Kathy, who is a successful businesswomen and philanthropist, spoke about how vital it is that young women pursue their professional aspirations and constantly strive to improve their world. Kathy Hubbard co-founded Bridges of Understanding, a non-profit, non political organization devoted to supporting projects and efforts that foster better understanding between the American people and people of the Arab world, with the help of several prominent American and Jordanian professionals.
Bridges of Understanding aims to create spheres of influence among future opinion leaders, inspiring them to affect positive change and support initiatives that encourage better understanding, dialogue, and appreciation between peoples of different cultures. Bridges of Understanding organizes mission trips to Jordan and other parts of the world, supports various educational efforts, and facilitates the exchange of information. |
